waste reduction activities that partners undertook
in 2004. Your annual data are available for review
in the Electronic
Reporting (This feature is currently unavailable) section of the WasteWise Web
site,* so that you can track your progress over
the upcoming year. Keep up the good work!

Partner
Spotlight
In addition to their successful
waste reduction efforts, many WasteWise partners
also achieve outstanding results in other areas
of environmental stewardship.
Staples,
Inc. participated in EPA's
Plug-In to eCycling program by sponsoring
a pilot take-back program at its retail stores
located in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
Rhode Island, and Connecticut, and from commercial
customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and
Connecticut. The company used its existing product
distribution network to collect and recycle more
than 100,000 pounds of electronic equipment during
a six-week period in 2004 from May through July.
For more information on this pilot program, please
see the Final
Report .
